Replace the filter.
Locate and unscrew the existing oil filter. Then, carefully screw in the new filter according to the manufacturer’s directions.
Add new oil.
Add new oil to the fill hole and then replace the fill cap. Start the engine and make sure the oil pressure valve goes up. Then, take a moment to look for any leaks or signs of damage. Check the oil level by pulling out the dipstick.
