Maintenance Savings

A hybrid car does have a gas engine, but because the electric motor is getting a lot of the work done, that engine doesn’t suffer the wear and tear that a gas engine would.

Where a traditional engine needs oil changes, transmission flushes, new spark plugs, and more on a regular basis, a hybrid needs them around half as often. Less wear and tear also means the combustible engine is less likely to break down, too.

Recharge Savings

Electric cars are great, but the real problem is finding a place to plug them in and paying for the energy to do so. A hybrid car does away with this issue because it’s self-recharging. Every time you brake, you’re sending energy to the battery. If the battery does run out, you don’t have to worry about getting stuck. Your combustion engine simply takes over.
